JUNE ANGELA received Broadway's Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations as Best Leading Actress in a Musical for SHOGUN and starred opposite Danny Glover as his wife in the 2 character play YOHEN at East West Players. She was a regular on 3 TV series, including the iconic THE ELECTRIC COMPANY with Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno, for which she received a Grammy and Emmy Award. She’s also part of TV history, being a regular on the first ever Asian American primetime sitcom MR. T & TINA with Pat Morita. (ABC) Numerous TV and theater credits include Madame Xing, the family psychic on FRESH OFF THE BOAT, DEXTER, ER, MAD-TV, E-RING, AMERICAN GEISHA… She starred on Broadway and in the London Palladium revival of THE KING & I with Yul Brynner and in many works at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center and Off-Broadway. She won a Theatre Guild Award as Best Lead Actress and was honored by Off-Broadway's Pan Asian Rep for all her work in theater. She narrated and voiced hundreds of characters in over 40 Audiobooks and she is currently working on 2 NDA TV projects. Shhh…
